Dr. Stanfield grew up on a small hobby farm in Southern New Hampshire, where she learned she had a love for caring for animals. After high school, she decided to move west to experience life in a different state and moved everything to Oklahoma. She received her bachelor’s in Animal Science in 2014 at Oklahoma State University and then went on to complete her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Science.
Once completing school, Dr. Stanfield and her husband moved back to New Hampshire to pursue her veterinary career and enjoy all that New Hampshire has to offer. Dr. Stanfield has been practicing as a small animal veterinarian for a few years at another hospital in the state but is very excited to be a part of the team at Old Town.
During her free time, Dr. Stanfield enjoys being outdoors with her husband, Will, and two dogs (Oakley-Dachshund, Avery- Golden Retriever). She also has an orange tabby cat named “Micah,” she saved during an externship in vet school.
She and her husband enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, and watching Oklahoma State football games. Dr. Stanfield also is a professional photographer on the weekends.
